The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with its 25 years is well positioned as a race track. When the circuit was inaugurated on 10 September 1991, the first race of the Spanish Touring Car Championship took place only days later. The first Formula 1 Grand Prix race took place in the same year, followed by the Moto GP Grand Prix the following year. The race track, which was built in Montmeló, is not close to the popular tourist city Barcelona. The circuit is a modern street lap solution with eight right and five left turns. This includes three wide, fast corners and two long, power demanding straights. There are also two strong braking zones.Seniors
